Always try to overcome boredom is an episode of the 1981 anime.

Kenichi is put in a bad mood and Hattori, with the aid of Shinzo and Shishimaru, tries to help him set things right.

Synopsis[]

One day, a bored and depressed Kenichi takes his anger out on Shinzo and Shishimaru. He then yells at Hattori after he asks him why he is in a bad mood. Later, Shinzo and Shishimaru consult Kemumaki and Yumeko, the latter of whom notes that Kenichi was not in a good frame of mind the last time they saw him. Hattori then turns up and tells them that the problem is that Kenichi is getting tired of his daily routine and wants a change in his life. Just then, a police car passes by with a recorded announcement that bombs have been unearthed and people have been requested not to hang around the bomb disposal area. Shinzo and Shishimaru blatantly ignore the warning and head off to see the action...

...but they aren't the only rule breakers, as about a hundred people are gathered around the bomb disposal area - including Kenichi. As people stampede to escape from the bomb which is about to explode, Hattori drags Kenichi away, throwing him into a hole in the ground. Hattori shelters Kenichi with his cloth glider as the "explosion" occurs - in reality, Shinzo and Shishimaru are making noise outside.

Kenichi wakes to find himself in a futuristic world, which has really been designed by Hattori. As he wonders around, Shinzo, claiming to be a man called Shinoda, passes by in a jet car (with the courtesy of Shishimaru's two feet) and offers him a lift to his house. There he meets Hattori and Shishimaru (calling himself Superman). He pours his heart out to them and they put him in a time machine, sending him back to his age. Back at the park, he is re-united with Kemumaki, Yumeko and Kagechiyo.
